On April 6-7, 2012 in the Puscha-Ozerna near Kiev one of the most expected events on Ukrainian marketing and public relations market was held. We are talking about the Xth International PR festival. The uniqueness of this event was in its multi-formatness: direct video connections from different countries and online broadcasting in the Internet have greatly expanded the audience of the festival. For example, about the transparency of the methods for assessing the effectiveness of outsourcing agencies and the «honest» tenders, which are organized for the clients by internal PR specialists.
On the second day of the festival the attention of the professional audience was focused on the round table – the discussion on political PR, moderated by Andrew Kulikov, a famous journalist and a host of the talk show «Freedom of speech» on the TV channel ICTV. Together with leading policy experts from Ukraine, Russia and Latvia he discussed the coming election campaign to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Roundtable participants also talked about the specifics of election race in the face of increasing of public discontent, the consequences of the revival of «mazhoritarka» and how last events in our country influenced the attitude towards it in Europe and worldwide.
The festival organizers pay attention to the fact that all the participants of the event can once again enjoy the most interesting moments by watching the documentary film on the materials of the festival, which is being prepared. «This project is courtesy of our partners, the company PolitPR, for which we are infinitely grateful,» – says Yelena Derevianko.
