Corporate cases: lessons of effective communications with business leaders
The XV International PR-Festival will not lack timely presentations. Namely, corporate business cases will occupy an important place in the agenda. Leading experts of the area will present the Festival’s audience big companies’ experience – original, tasty and “beautifully wrapped” – how to establish effective communications.
Viktor Sholoshenko, marketing director of the biggest national special-purpose network of gadgets and accessories “Citrus”, who is known for his unconventional approach to dealing with communications, has devoted his report to PR promotion of brands. “You cannot become famous for your good deeds. Basically you can, but it is very expensive” is the topic of his presentation full of interesting cases based on the unique corporate experience.
The national media assure us persistently that “life has become better, life has become jollier”. Yet the current events demonstrate the opposite. Information and hit-and-run attacks against successful businesses have not at all sunk into oblivion. Besides they have become less disguised and their mechanisms have become even more complicated. The saddest thing is that anyone can find themselves at risk. In this connection the report “Tearing oligarchs away from the trough: lessons of PR battles over #1 taxpayer in Ukraine” to be delivered at the forthcoming Festival by Volodymyr Haidash, head of communications at PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya, and the company’s press-secretary Larysa Polishchuk is of special interest not only to PR audience. The largest gas production company in Ukraine has always been considered by various political forces to be extremely attractive for seizing and grabbing control. As a result, it has survived quite a few big and small information/reputation attacks throughout its history. The details of these attacks (and, the most important, the detailed ways to counteract with the help of information channels of various levels) will be presented in the report as ready-made cases.
