The International PR-Festival dedicated to looking for responses to the reputation challenges businesses are facing
The reputation challenges for companies and public persons are a key topic of the XVII International PR-Festival (www.pr-festival.com.ua). This landmark intersectoral event of the communication industry has been attracting over 200 leading Ukrainian and foreign professionals in the area of corporate and product PR, GR and IR, CSR, marketing, media and digital for many years now. We always invite outstanding speakers and have lively discussions of the latest news and trends. And what’s important – we continuously search for efficient technologies applicable to dealing with reputation that would provide creative communication between businesses, authorities, society, consumers, and key stakeholders.
This year, the guests of the Festival will get together on Holy Thursday – April 25, 2019 – at the Grand Hall of Khreshchatyk Hotel.
Traditionally, each Festival is opened by the keynote speech given by Elena Derevianko, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, PR-Service partner agency, Vice-President of the Ukrainian PR-League, reputable scientist-methodologist and one of the most successful and well-known practicing PR experts. She will present the inventory of modern reputation challenges, the most urgent for businesses, and will put forward her ideas as to the ways to respond to them. “We live and work in the interesting times when the number and variability of challenges arising in the context of technological revolution and social and economic turbulence have changed the understanding of reputation management. In what way? Let’s discuss it at the PR-Festival-2019,” says Elena Derevianko.
Then the motivational speech on personal experience of challenge management will be presented by Max Bakhmatov, managing partner of UNIT.City and Chairman of the Board of Rada Tech, who needs no introduction.
The morning panel discussion will gather managers of popular mass media of various formats, such as 5th TV Channel, segodnya.ua, IA Ukrainksi Novyny, and VIVA! Magazine. The honest professional discussion is expected with the top officials of leading media on how businesses can reach out to mass media with their interesting and positive news.
After that our guests will be offered exemplary cases based on the experience of the leading international and Ukrainian companies. According to the program, the presenters from Coca-Cola, Mazda, ATB, Kyivstar, MHP, and WOG will cover the topical issue of involvement of key stakeholders in the context of increasing informational overload.
For obvious reasons, the special focus is on digital-topic: network hypes (taking the example of the advertising campaign of “Красивый крАсовер” (Krasivyi krAsover - the word-play meaning beautiful crossover)) from Mazda, modern video content for social media, strategy of creating person brand in Instagram taking the example of this social network’s star Polina Logunova, future application of AI developments in the reputation management.
The afternoon panel discussion of top PR- and HR experts will cover the topic of personnel re-skilling in public relation, requirements to applicants for job vacancies, efficient models of building and managing PR-teams.
Besides, the participants of the XVII International PR-Festival will hear from the primary source how the opinion leaders are doing these days through taking the example of one of the most in-demand economic experts. They will learn how “Terra Food” is overcoming communication barriers by holding PR-campaigns in the countries importing the company’s products. And how Fedor Serdiuk performs PR-promotion of his social entrepreneurial project FAST.
The XVII International PR-Festival will be closed by the gala award ceremony of winners of the V National Corporate Reputation Management Quality Ranking “Репутационные АКТИВисты” (Reputational ACTIVists). The nation will know who its heroes are, and the guests of the PR-Festival-2019 will raise the traditional glass of Champaign to their success.
