The XVI International PR-Festival: To Do a Puzzle of Success with the Technologies of Tomorrow
The Organizing Committee of the Kyiv International PR-Festival has set the date of holding the largest communications forum.
The Organizing Committee has made a decision that the XVI International PR-Festival will be held in the Grand Hall’s “space interior” of the capital’s Khreshchatyk Hotel (14 Khreshchatyk St.) on March 29, 2018. The choice of the location is stipulated by the corresponding subject matter of Festival-2018 that sounds as "Communications of tomorrow: a puzzle of success".
A busy one-day format of the event traditionally presupposes a broad agenda and a ceremony of awarding the winners of the Fourth National Rating of Corporate Reputation Management Quality “Reputation Activists”. Besides, for the first time in the last couple of years a bright afterparty for the participants is to be expected. In addition to music items it will include a performance of a special guest.
The following topics, among others, have been entered on the current version of the program of the XVI International PR-Festival:
- tendencies of the world’s and Ukraine’s PR industry: a statement and a forecast;
- new generations’ consumer moods (results of an international study);
- working with toxic objects of PR promotion;
- introducing corporate messages into the country’s «agenda»;
- social networks from the perspective of time: real possibilities for a PR-pro;
- PR-dividends shared by the business and the power: how to generate without running into problems;
- virtual and augmented technology: a potential of being applied in PR;
- corporate blackmail: methods of PR resisting;
- reputation risks and corporate security;
- etc., etc.
Olena Derevyanko, head of the International PR-Festival’s Organizing Committee, commented on the chosen format for the event, “During the Festival, we find it interesting to raise visionary and strategic topics because in our daily routine we don’t often have time to think about landmark tendencies and challenges of the branch, of the society, and of the world. That is why it is a unique opportunity to do a multidimensional analysis with experts of various areas participating. Besides, there is a possibility to see the best managers of corporate reputation working for Ukrainian and international companies. And in order to avoid excessive theorizing and, what is more, unnecessary bombast we added “a cherry on top”. I am sure it will be tasty”.
We would like to remind you that the International PR-Festival has been held since 2002 under the auspices of the Ukrainian PR-League. It is the “longest playing” project of the national communications industry. In the recent years, the event has been held under the slogan “The Art of Dancing in the Rain” attracting attention of the professional community to the growing frequency of crisis phenomena on the global and the local scale.
The official organizing partner of the festival is the PR-Service Agency that has been leading the national PR market for many years, according to the Marketing Media Review. The co-founder of the Agency Olena Derevyanko (Doctor of Economics, vice-president of the Ukrainian PR-League, senator of the European Economic Senate, www.derevyan.com ) is the head of the project’s Organizing Committee.
