Dzhangirov Dmitriy

He graduated from Kiev Polytechnic Institute (now – NTU «KPI»). Has been in journalism since 1994. Was a political commentator at weekly analytical digest «UNIAN-Politika» (UNIAN news agency, 1994/95). He also held a position of an editor at the weekly publication «Business» (1995/98). At different times, headed the editorial offices of such daily newspapers as «Vechernie Vesti» (Evening News), «Slovo Batkivschyny» (Word of Fatherland), «Khreschatyk» and weeklies «Ponedelnik» (Monday) and «Novyi Ponedelnik» (New Monday). From 2001 to 2004 worked at «1+1» TV channel as: a writer of political cartoon series «Velykі peregony» (The Great Races), the editor-in-chief of electoral debates (parliamentary elections in 2002), the editor of the TV program «Ya tak dumayu» (I think so) with Anna Bezulik, the presenter of author's program «Prote» (However). Held the post of the Director TRC «Kiev» and also acted as an author and host of «Vecherniy kofe s Dmitry Dzhangirov» (Evening coffee with Dmitriy Dzhangirov) (TRC «Kiev», 2007/10). In 2007 hosted the author's program «Pohvala gluposti» (Praise of Folly) on Radio Kyiv 98 FM. Currently, he is an analyst at «1+1» TV channel. Since 1991 has been taking part in all national and Kiev election campaigns. Author of the satirical novel «The Image-maker from Moscow». First Vice-President of the Chess Federation of Kiev.
