Kapustin Andrey

Has been in the field of professional journalism since 1988. Took part in the implementation of a number of projects of the printed media, namely, the development of the first free Ukrainian newspaper circulated only in the metro, Metro-Press (150 000 copies in Kharkov). His articles were published in more than 120 media in Ukraine, CIS and non-CIS countries. For a long time Andrey Kapustin has worked as a staff reporter of the leading media of the Russian Federation. For 3 years he worked in trouble spots of the former Soviet Union countries. While working at the New Life Radio station (USA), he founded a weekly newspaper of the Russian community in Chicago The Week. Andrey Kapustin was a deputy of the Kharkov City Council. Since autumn 2007 has been leading the project on monitoring of Ukraine’s preparation for the Euro-2012 Championship. His basic reviews are published in the weekly newspaper «Zerkalo Nedeli» («Mirror of the Week»). He took part in the UEFA’s press-tour «One year to go». Andrey Kapustin is an observer for LB.ua (The Left Bank on-line newspaper), top-blogger of the Korrespondent.net web-site, member of the Ukraine’s National Journalists Union, and the International Journalists Federation IFG.
