Chuyev Sergei

Mr. Sergei Chuyev graduated from Kharkov Artistic and Industrial Institute (now – the State Academy of Arts and Design). Has been a member of the Union of Designers since 1991. The founder of the first Ukrainian magazine about design «Design-Aspect» (1999 and 2001). The Chairman of Kyiv branch of the Union of Designers of Ukraine (2001-2004). Deputy Chairman of the Union of Designers of Ukraine (2004-2005). The columnist of «PRO design» on the Internet portal sostav.ua (2007-2009). The jury member of various contests and festivals, such as Kyiv International Advertising Festival and others, professional contests of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, etc., the organizer of the contest of Professional Design Jury «REXGallery» (Kyiv). Inspirer and organizer of «Dytyacha Planeta» («Кids Planet») social project as a part of Kyiv International Advertising Festival. A professor of graphic design at the Boichuk Institute of Decorative-Applied Arts and Design. The author of dozens of articles, workshops and seminars. He was awarded the Badge of the Council on Design at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine «For considerable contributions to the development of design» in 2000. Since 1995 (since foundation) has been the Director of «DG Press» Design Bureau.
