Since 1988 he has been working on a voluntary basis in Ukraine. Since Ukraine gained independence Bogdan Gavrilishin has been an advisor to several presidents of Ukraine, Prime Ministers, Chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada.

Launched his own newspaper – weekly gossip «Boulevard» (since 2005 – «Boulevard of Gordon»). Except journalism is interested in bandstand. Recorded about 60 songs, released six albums and made eight clips.
