Puzzle of Success Was Put Together in Space Interior at XVI International PR-Festival
The XVI International PR-Festival was put into communications orbit in Kyiv on March 29. The venue was the Grand Hall of the capital’s Khreshchatyk Hotel with its convenient location and ideally planned workspace that contributed to efficient work of the Festival. Over 200 participants, a constellation of prominent speakers and partners, hot topics and fantastic atmosphere – this is what the biggest PR forum of the year that has already become history will be remembered for.
“This year we have concentrated on modern PR instruments, on the challenges we face in terms of the digital age we are living in, in terms of the artificial intelligence and some of its manifestations like chat bots or, say, working with opinion leaders,” stressed Olena Derevianko, head of the Festival’s Organizing Committee.
The current Forum’s keynotes were alternative channels of communication: the majority of the speakers tackled the topic this or that way. It is not surprising that, like one of the special guests of the Festival, Nicholas Tymoshchuk, put it, “… we are greatly influenced by the development of technologies, by the development of alternative information transfer channels such as social networks and messengers. We should be prepared for more and more representatives of the new generation addressing these very information channels.”
Also, the latest trends in reputation management, competences of the new age PR experts, involvement of popular bloggers and other opinion leaders in the implementation of a PR strategy, virtual and augmented reality application in PR, efficient methods of counteracting greenmail and joining of communication and legal methods in order to protect reputation and many other issues were discussed at the XVI International PR-Festival.
As usual, the Organizing Committee gave the gift of not only an intensive program but also of a possibility to learn from bright experts. And the special guests of the PR Forum were genuine celebrities and TV stars Andrii Domanskyi and Anatolii Anatolich (Anatolii Yatsechko). Judging by the comments of the Festival’s participants, their performance turned out to be a real professional discovery for many of them, for example as a source of useful information on working with alternative channels of communication.
The fourth ceremony of awarding the winners of the National Rating of Corporate Reputation Management Quality “Reputation ACTIVists” was held within the framework of the XVI International PR-Festival. Their complete list can be found in a special supplement to “Focus” magazine of March 30, 2018.
The Festival’s intensive program was followed by a brilliant after party.
Each one who joined in the event named the XVI International PR-Festival took home not only new knowledge, bright impressions, unforgettable emotions and “space” photosJ but also the warmth of the organizers’ hearts and a part of their soul. And surely these people left a part of theirs at the Festival. The Head of the Organizing Committee Olena Derevianko spoke about it in her thank-you post on Facebook, “I thank everyone who was a partner and a supporter, who spoke, who got to the bottom of speeches, who landed themselves at the after party… I was glad to see all of you, to hug all of you, to selfie with all of you, to discuss our plans. And, of course, I was awfully glad to see new faces who, I am sure, will become the new Festivals’ new friends and participants!”
