Organizing Committee of XVI International PR-Festival Sets 2018 Agenda
The Organizing Committee of the XVI International PR-Festival has set the 2018 agenda. The largest specialized forum whose topic is “Communications of Tomorrow: A Puzzle of Success” will accommodate the most burning issues and cases and will bring together the leasing representatives of the professional community and the allied industries within its one-day format.
Olena Derevianko, head of the XVI International PR-Festival’s Organizing Committee, “We are living in such interesting times that the future is getting less and less predictable. But we can see the sprouts of future tendencies even today. This is what we are going to discuss at the Festival.”
Traditionally, the XVI International PR-Festival will be opened by the head of the Festival’s Organizing Committee, the vice-president the Ukrainian PR-League, a partner at the PR-Service Agency Olena Derevianko with her review “Modern Tendencies of the PR-Industry Development: Market Operators, Instruments, Senses.” Then, the participants of the Festival will be inspired by the special guest – Nicholas Tymoshchuk, chief executive officer at UFuture Investment Group, a giant business conglomerate and investment company founded by the Ukrainian entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky.
In the first part of the morning block Olena Zubareva, head of the PR Department at the “Farmak” Pharmaceutical Company, will share her ideas and her experience of “Crisis Communications. 3 Steps that Change the Reality”. Maria Andreas, chief executive officer at “The Future of the Nation” Charity Fund, will dwell on effective combining of reputational assets of business and charity institutions in her presentation “Synergy of Businesses’ and Non-Profit Organizations’ Reputational Strategies”. Gleb Baibayev, chief marketing officer at the Romanov Empire, will explore the intricacies of communicating with “KOLs” together with his audience; he will present his report of “Influence Marketing: How to Use Bloggers and Opinion Leaders in PR Communications and Promoting Brands for the Audience of Millenials.”
The second part of the morning block will be opened by the panel discussion “The Portrait of the Ukrainian PR-Expert: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” whose participants will definitely be Victoria Yesaulenko, marketing director of the “Asters” Law Firm, Kateryna Kovalevska, head of the European HR Association, head of the Supervisory Board of the HR FORUM Association, Olena Horyacheva, head of the Communications and Public Relations Department of OTP Bank JSC, and Olena Pryvalova, a PR expert on the non-bank financial market and the legal sector, a communications adviser of the Judicial Reform Project.
Then, Mykhailo Shuranov, Ukrtelecom PR Director, will speak about the advantages of professional education for building a corporate PR career. Oleksii Kalynychenko, Corporate Communications manager at Philip Morris Ukraine PrJSC, will dedicate his report to the unique features of building a communication strategy of global companies in Ukraine. The morning block will be summarized by the speech of Vlad Kotov, the founder of the “Robo.House” Company, on “Technologies of the Future: Logic of Mainstreamfication” and by the report of Daria Fedko, founder and manager of “WeAR Studio”, AR fan and VR enthusiast, dedicated to “Virtual and Augmented Reality in PR”.
The afternoon part of the Festival’s agenda will be opened by Ievheniia Blyznyuk, CEO of the Cornerstone Corporation, who is going to draw a parallel between the media and the fourth dimension. Another parallel – between business partners and PR partners – is the topic of the following presentation whose author is Eugene Dykhne, first deputy director general of Boryspil International Airport. After that, we expect another special star guest of the Forum to turn up. This is Andriy Domanskiy, a popular radio and TV presenter and showman.
The next part of the second block is a kind of manual on PR struggling. Vitalii Maksymov, “Auto.TCH.ua” editor for “1+1 Studio” will speak about working with toxic objects of PR promotion. Tetiana Shulga, a managing partner of RED Community Association, will dwell on PR methods of corporate blackmail counteraction. The report of Andriy Tsygankov, chairman of the UNBA Committee on Professional Conduct, will be dedicated to synchronizing legal and communicative aspects in order to build the most effective strategy of reputation protecting.
The business part of the Festival’s agenda will be concluded by the discussion “Close Together in the Fight for the Business’s Reputation: PR and Corporate Security of the Business”. Its participants are to be the leading experts of the communications sector: Olena Derevianko, vice-president the Ukrainian PR-League, a partner at the PR-Service Agency, Doctor of Economics; Hanna Lichman, head of PR and Media Relations at the ATB Corporation; Vera Tarasenko, head of PR in Forward Bank. Ievhen Zahorulko, head of PR in the Smart-Holding; Serhii Pohrebnoy, a competent lawyer, head of the board of the “Association of Corporate Security Professionals” Non-Governmental Organization, a member of the American Society of Industrial Security; Ivan Gerasymovych, head of Risks and Security in the Smart-Holding.
The XVI International PR-Festival will culminate in awarding the winners of the Forth National Rating of Corporate Reputation Management Quality “Reputation ACTIVists”. Also, the results of the rating will be published in the special edition “Reputation ACTIVists” and will be circulated together with the issue of “Focus” magazine.
A bright after-party is to follow the day full of information. The participants of the Forum will be able to communicate in informal surroundings over a glass of champagne and to enjoy popular hits by the EltonClapton professional cover group.
